About Bill Freeman |

As an Executive with twenty-five years experience directing multi-million dollar operations, Bill Freeman has demonstrated the ability to resolve conflicts between individuals, managers, and departments in order to establish cooperative environments and achieve financial results. He served as VP of Manufacturing for Amoco Foam Products Company, a $250 million subsidiary of Amoco Corporation – managing eleven manufacturing plants (both union and non-union) and 1400 employees nationwide. As VP of Operations for PRIDE Enterprises, Bill managed six Operating Divisions as well as the Sales, Marketing, and Purchasing Departments for this $85 million diversified manufacturing and service corporation which operates the prison industries throughout the state of Florida. He was responsible for an organization of 3,000 persons, most of whom were state prison inmates. In this role he resolved interdepartmental conflicts and coached managers and supervisors on how to resolve conflicts. During his business career, Bill achieved significant results in the areas of plant management, multiple site operations, strategic planning, and organizational development. He also negotiated two acquisitions and a union collective bargaining agreement.
Bill has been registered as a General Mediator and a Domestic Relations Mediator with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution, Supreme Court of Georgia since 1998. He has mediated conflicts involving business, civil, criminal, and domestic relations issues and has served on two arbitration panels. Bill is founder and President of Freeman Mediation Services which provides mediation and reconciliation services to individuals, corporations, churches, and court systems in North Georgia. He is certified by Mediation Training Institute International to provide training in workplace conflict management.
Bill is a Certified Christian Conciliator, having been trained in the process of reconciliation by The Institute for Christian Conciliation, a division of Peacemaker Ministries in Billings, MT. He has facilitated numerous reconciliation sessions on a variety of issues and taught Biblical principles of conflict resolution to adult classes in local churches.
Bill has balanced his career responsibilities with a strong commitment to family and church activities. Bill and his wife Sandy have been married 37 years and raised six children. Bill has served on the Elder Board of Fellowship Bible Church in Roswell, GA and on the Elder Board of Community Bible Church in Brooksville, FL.
